News, comment and analysis on Spain, Portugal and beyond

About Iberosphere

Iberosphere is dedicated to comment on and analysis of news from Spain and Portugal and the countries within their political, economic and cultural sphere of influence, including Latin America and North Africa. As an authoritative source of in-depth reporting and news analysis, Iberosphere articles and writers are often quoted, cited and referenced by analysts, academics and international news organizations, including, among others: The Economist, The Washington Post, Foreign Policy, Slate and El País.

Founded in February 2010, Iberosphere.com operated for more than three years, and was regularly updated by a small team of editors and contributors.

The project ceased in August 2013.
